After more than 40 years in the international logistics industry, Gary Baylis established EXPORT ACCESS to help UK exporters gain access to overseas markets.
The pace of globalization has increased over recent decades, encouraged by numerous Free Trade Agreements. But few people realize that there has been a corresponding, huge increase in barriers to trade, imposed by governments around the world, in response to concerns about food safety, security, health, nutrition and the environment.
Gary has a wealth of knowledge and experience with exports and imports of all kinds, to and from all regions of the world and is a Member of the Institute of Export & International Trade. Working closely with government agencies, Chambers of Commerce, industry associations and international trade support organizations, he helps exporters identify and overcome barriers to trade (such as import controls and regulatory compliance) so that they can successfully enter new markets. As Managing Director of EXPORT ACCESS, Gary is at the forefront of the company’s efforts to establish itself as the leading provider of compliance assistance services for exporters.
