    UK food and drink producers are looking forward to SIAL, the world’s largest tradeshow for the industry in 2018. 

    Taking place in Paris, the UK pavilion organised by FDEA in conjunction with its event delivery partner, PS8, will showcase over 100 companies all looking to grow their export business.

    Given the importance of the EU to the UK food and drink industry - with over 70% of our exports going to the EU  - it is vital that access to this market is maintained. SIAL provides an excellent platform for UK businesses to meet with export partners and is a highly important event in the calendar this year.

    British pavilion at FHC Shanghai 

    Food and Hotel China (FHC) 2017 welcomed 91,301 trade visitors over three days, representing a record-breaking 40% increase in attendees since the 2016 show.

    With 85,000sqm of space and 2,450 international exhibitors from more than 69 countries and regions; FHC has grown to become the leading tradeshow for international companies looking to introduce their products into the Chinese market.

    43 National and Regional Pavilions participated in this year’s show, highlighting the importance of the international food and wine community in China.

    DIT grants are available to new to market SMEs exhibiting on the UK pavilion.

    FOODEX JAPAN is one of the largest international trade shows in Asia specialising in Food & Drink with over 71,000 visitors and 2,500 exhibitors from 70 countries & regions. The show gives you an excellent opportunity to present your products and your brand strengths to key Japanese and Asian buyers

    The Japan food and drink market is very sophisticated, and although traditional culinary culture remains a strong part of national identity, Japanese consumers enjoy a diverse range of food products now available at an array of convenient locations. The Japanese value the country of origin and the vibrant stories behind products. Imported foods and beverages is around 5.9 trillion Yen  

    Food and drink exports to Japan rose by 5% in Q1 2018, from Q1 2017, to £56.7m and it is now the UK's 18th largest export destination for food and drink.
